Do you have an existing product that needs updating?
One of TDP's unique strengths is finding ways to creatively, and dramatically improve existing designs. We can quickly re-engineer your product to make it easier and less costly to manufacture. This translates to a product that is easier to service, and more reliable for your customer. The result—happier customers, improved sales, and ultimately, more profit to your bottom line.

	Optibrand Optireader The challenge presented by this design: Create a product that acts like an opthalmoscope, but make it portable and rugged for use with livestock in the field. The result: A powerful handheld device using a Pentium-class single board computer with a full color LCD display, running a custom Linux operating system. And, the Optireader is ruggedized for the most demanding field use.
	Motion Controller The challenge to TDP: Create a cost-effective design and go from the concept phase to full production in six months. The completed design includes four axes of servo control, two axes of stepper motor control, and safety circuitry for operator safety. Further, the design was created with modularity and serviceability in mind.
	The Content Cube The challenge presented by this project was monumental: Work with a startup company to introduce a new product to the market quickly, and with UL approval. This high-end server for memory-intensive audio and video applications was designed and released to manufacturing (with UL approval) in less than seven months.
	Automatic Film Drive TDP was faced with the following challenge: Create a new motion control system to programmatically move photographic film to extremely precise positions. TDP's cost-effective servo controller allowed the drive to achieve positional accuracy of 3mm over a 500m length of film. The system was developed for 1/3 the cost of the previous solution, with the capability to operate unattended for days. This product has been in production for 10 years.
	Pump Controller Circuit Board The challenge to TDP: Take a customer's industrial pump controller currently using relays and older programmable logic circuits, and replace with a modern, less costly microprocessor-based design. Maintain overall product robustness to survive potentially severe environmental conditions. TDP re-engineered the pump controller circuit boards, and quickly delivered prototypes to the customer for evaluation. Satisfied that the new controllers were just what they needed, the customer proceeded with the introduction of their new products to the market. TDP has produced thousands of these controller boards for this customer, and we continue to assist them in bringing new and innovative products to market.
